25 Years in eye care services and the journey continues...Started as a modest eye hospital in the year 1990 with the mission,
"To provide appropriate,compassionate and high quality eye care for all"
The hospital is run by D.D.Sharma Public Charitable Trust, a not for profit organization, which was found by Pt. Deen Dayal Sharma and Dr. Jaswant K. Sharma in 1980. The hospital started its services with community outreach cataract surgical camps at Mahendergarh and surrounding districts and then it realized the immediate need of a permanent infrastructure with full time eye care facility to prevent the needless blindness. The hospital was established in 1990.
The hospital reputation has grown rapidly and Mahendergarh has become the eye care destiny for the people in southern Haryana and for the neighboring districts of Rajasthan. The hospital serves to nearly 3 million population treating 1,00,000 patients in a year. The hospital has treated so far more than 25,00,000 patients and operated more than 1,50,000 surgeries. Recently established specialty services and expanding with branch hospitals in Haryana and Rajasthan.
Accuracy in the initial diagnosis is crucial to treat an eye disease or to prevent further loss of vision. Technology development is one of the significant key which supports in delivering successful treatment and the hospital is well equipped with the highly sophisticated equipments to provide best results to the patients.
The hospital also conduct surgeries for Squint and Oculoplastic Surgery for the childrens.
